Residents of Funko and Amanful Community in the Ahanta West constituency of the western region, are appealing to the government to help them get their fare share of the national cake by providing them with good road network.
Residents are wailing over the poor condition of their roads as drivers dread the unavoidable situation of plying thier trade on the road.
In an interaction with Ahortor fm reporter Portia Cudjoe, the drivers revealed that, ” we have to always visit the mechanic anytime we use the road because our vehicles always breakdown, when it rains it very difficult for a car to move hence potholes have been created on the road has hinder our business a lot.” They lamented.
They blame government for failing to live up to its electoral promise to construct the road.
However, residents and drivers are appealing to government to fulfill his campaign promise by creating good road network.
