Your running mate is a disaster, humble yourself for us to give you one – North Tongu MP tells NPP.

Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, MP for North Tongu, has criticized the New Patriotic Party (NPP), suggesting they “humble themselves” and borrow a running mate from the opposition, as he described their current choice as a “disaster.”

Ablakwa specifically took aim at Hon. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, known as NAPO, calling him a “monumental disaster” for both the NPP and the nation.

Speaking at a campaign rally in Asawase, Ablakwa claimed that, during his tenure as Education Minister, NAPO introduced a curriculum that included comprehensive sexuality education, which he argued could expose students to LGBTQ topics.

He noted that NAPO had announced this curriculum after attending a UNESCO conference, with plans to implement it in 2019.

Ablakwa urged Ghanaians to reject the NPP in the upcoming December 7 elections, blaming the party for the nation’s current challenges.

He expressed confidence that the NDC and John Mahama have the vision to improve Ghana, encouraging voters to choose the NDC’s position, number 8, on the ballot.
