The Member of Parliament for Builsa south and Deputy ranking member on parliament’s education committee Hon. Dr. Clement Apaak was invited via call on Adekye mu nsem on Ahotor 92.3 FM earlier today.
Upon discussion he said that the state of the nation’s address have not been read because there is nothing positive the Nana Addo led government can offer Ghanaians.
According to him, there has been lot of promises by the President which never being fulfilled and accounting to the people on nothing is difficult hence the delay in the reading of the state of the nation’s address.
He added that, this time the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has no confidence to read anything because he has nothing to offer.
Hon Apaak said looking at things from his angle there might be no (SONA) even to the first quarter of the year or even the whole year.
He mentioned that a 36 capacity children’s ward has been established for his people in his constituency.
According to him the move was considered when the Health Minister Kweku Agyeman Manu could not tell whether the agenda 111 covers his constituency, meanwhile his people’s population was overtaken and they could not play with such important lives.
Commenting on government decision to charge teachers 10% on bungalows he said it’s a bad move because that is the only motivation that most teachers have and so if it taken away most teachers might lose interest importantly to go teaching in the villages.
He added that the government is already in diverse ways stressing teachers and this should not have been mentioned.
