The National Communications Officer of the NDC, lawyer Sammy Gyamfi has said that they will not sit and watch the Bank of Ghana keep messing with the economic state of the country through crime disguised as good.
“You cannot use crime to save the economy, it does not happen anywhere, every country is backed by laws, and anything to save that economy must law abided’’
‘’They have not saved the economy but have rather made the economy reverse and committed a crime against state institutions’’
“The Bank of Ghana is an important institution, and that is why we have passed the act to make them relevant and independent, so we cannot sit and watch them waste our economy by turning crime as good, “he said.
Lawyer Sammy Gyamfi added that their call for the Bank of Ghana governor and his deputies to resign is a serious thing and if they fail to do so in 21days as given, the 137 NDC MPs and all NDC members together with Ghanaians who are tired and angry over the mismanagement of the NPP government and the activities of the bank of Ghana will match with the media to the premises of the Bank of Ghana day and night until they resign.
