The Paramount Chief of Nandom in the Upper West Region, Naa Professor Nyminyem Delle V, has expressed strong support for John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
During Mahama’s tour of the region, Naa Professor Delle V addressed him, refuting any negative characterizations of the former president, such as being called a “driver’s mate,” and instead affirmed that Mahama is the “driver” himself.
The chief emphasized that Mahama’s wealth of experience makes him an exceptional leader and expressed confidence in his ability to govern effectively if given another opportunity after the December 7 elections.
He urged Mahama to remember the people of Nandom in terms of development should he return to power.
Naa Professor Delle V pledged his full support and welcomed Mahama to his land, calling on divine wisdom, similar to that of Solomon, to guide him and the NDC.
He expressed belief that under Mahama’s leadership, Ghana would become a prosperous and united country. Additionally, the paramount chief shared his confidence that corruption would not take place under Mahama’s watch, underscoring his trust in Mahama’s integrity.
