Yaw Preko Attributes Poor Start Of League To Fatigue

The head coach of Nsoatreman FC , Yaw Preko has attributed his team’s sluggish starts in the ghana premier league games to fatigue .

Speaking after their victory against Legon Cities in the GPL match day 5, Coach Yaw Preko expressed concern over the team’s participation in the CAF Confederations cup competition which has affected their performance, particularly in the first four games in the GPL.

Coach Yaw Preko further explained that 3-1 win against Legon Cities was a motivation and an head-up to regain the energy to win the subsequent games ahead.

The win moves Yaw Preko’s team to eighth place on the league table with six points from four games, while the Royals remain at the bottom with just one point.

The home side took the lead eight minutes into the game through Richard Acquaah’s strike. Twenty-six minutes later, Walid Fuseini doubled the lead and Morrison Anokye in the Thirty-eight minutes added the last goal for the Nsoatre-based club, setting them on course for victory and Legon Cities pulled one back through Mohammed Alidu in the Eighty-ninth minutes.

Despite this challenge, Yaw Preko remains hopeful that with better squad management and recovery strategies, Nsoatreman can improve their consistency and turn around their performances.
