First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, H.E Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo says she has seen it in her dream that, one day there will be a woman President in Ghana.
According to her, the title “Madam President” will be said as easily as “Mister President”.
Speaking at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA) 15th congregation, where the University conferred an honorary doctorate on her.
She thanked the chancellor of the University, the chairman and member of the University Council, the vice-chancellor, and the management and members of the convocation of the University of Professional Studies for the honorary doctorate.
“We hope this honor and our humble contribution to our nation will inspire girls to expire to the very top” she added.
The University honored the First Lady, the former Speaker of Parliament Joyce Bamford Addo, and the former Chief Justice Georgina Theodora Wood.
President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo was the special guest of honor for the program.
