Wizkid’s sixth studio album, Morayo, has made history as the first album to have all its tracks chart on the Billboard Afrobeats Chart for an impressive eight consecutive weeks.
This groundbreaking achievement comes as all 16 tracks from the album retained their spots on the chart during the tracking week of January 25, 2025. Leading the way is Piece of My Heart featuring Brent Faiyaz, charting at No. 5, while Lose rounds off the milestone at No. 45.
The album has already set several records, including the largest first-week streams on Spotify Nigeria and becoming the first project to have all its songs surpass 500,000 streams on their opening day on the platform.
Morayo, released on November 22, 2025, was preceded by its lead single Piece of My Heart, which initially broke the record for the biggest opening day streams on Spotify Nigeria, a record later surpassed by Wizkid’s Dance (Kese).
The album features guest appearances from Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola, and Anais Cardot, and is named in honor of Wizkid’s late mother, who was laid to rest in 2024. Wizkid has performed tracks from the project at various events, including the Oando End of Year Party, sharing the stage with Davido and Burna Boy.
As Wizkid gears up for his 2025 tour, fans are eagerly anticipating live performances of their favorite songs from this record-breaking album.
