Asante Kotoko’s head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh praised Nigerian striker Wisdom Bassey following his cameo role against Nsoatreman.
Speaking after the game, Dr Ogum took some time to shower praise on his striker.
“I think it’s good for him. He came in, his first game, and he even had the opportunity to score so as a team the players in the dressing room, the technical staff, everybody was happy for him. We are all happy that he came in and made an impact. We only hope that he will keep the momentum when given the opportunity again to play,” Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum said in an interview with Kotoko TV.
Bassey will be expecting more minutes in subsequent matches after a stellar performance against Nsoatreman on Wednesday.
Asante Kotoko returned to winning ways with a 1-0 win against Nsoatreman in an outstanding league game after consecutive draws against Young Apostles and Berekum Chelsea.
