Former Ghana international William Kwabena Tierro warns that the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup group is “not easy at all”. Ghana is paired with England, Croatia, and Panama in Group L.
“Ghana shouldn’t underestimate any opponent,” Tierro told Kessben FM. “Panama’s style is similar to South America and North America. They’ve qualified from their continent, so we can’t take them lightly.”
This will be Ghana’s fifth World Cup appearance, having reached the quarterfinals in 2010. To prepare, they’ll face Germany in a friendly on March 30, 2026.
