Running mate of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the last elections, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has called on Ghanaians to vote against the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) come 2024 general elections because the hardship is too much.
According to her, what have Ghanaians done wrong to deserve this bad governance under the NPP and Nana Akufo-Addo?
She said they have done a lot to show that they cannot rule this country to make things easy for the people of Ghana.
Speaking at the outdooring program of the Tema West Parliamentary Candidate of the NDC, Lawyer James Enu in the 2024 elections, the former minister of education said everyone including infants has gotten their share from this bad governance.
She indicated that everyone needs to be vigilant since the government and the governing party have failed to listen to the plight of the people.
On the side of children, she emphasized on lack of vaccines for newborn babies, the lack of textbooks in basic schools, the lack of food in secondary schools, etc.
The former vice-chancellor of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) called on constituency and branch executives of the NDC in the Tema West constituency to help their candidate win the seat because the party needs a majority in parliament to develop Ghana in 2025.
