Ghanaian singer Wendy Shay has added another major achievement to her career after being crowned Artist of the Year at the just-ended Ghana Music Awards Europe.

The award comes at a significant point in Wendy Shay’s musical journey, which began professionally after she relocated from Germany to Ghana to pursue music.

She gained widespread attention with her debut single “Uber Driver” in 2018 and subsequently became one of the notable female voices associated with Ghana’s contemporary
