Yusif Saeed, the NDC Constituency Chairman for Okaikoi South, has expressed strong confidence that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) will win both the parliamentary and presidential seats in the upcoming 2024 elections.
He believes the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) has no chance of reclaiming the Okaikoi South seat, citing the popularity and humanitarian efforts of the NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Ernest Adomako Kion.
Speaking on Ahotor FM’s Adekyee Mu Nsem with host Citizen Kofi Owusu, Yusif emphasized, “Even in opposition, Ernest Adomako Kion has won many hearts in this constituency through his charitable works. For the first time in 28 years, we will surprise the NDC leadership by securing both the presidential and parliamentary seats in Okaikoi South.”
He called on all constituents to rally behind the NDC, confident that the winds of change are in the air, and that the party will bring much-needed development to the area.
Chairman Yusif also criticized the current NPP MP, Darkoa Newman, for failing to use her ministerial position to benefit the constituency.
“Despite being a Minister, Darkoa Newman has done nothing to improve Okaikoi South. Her name is not even worth mentioning because her record speaks for itself,” Yusif remarked.
With growing dissatisfaction among constituents, Chairman Yusif is certain that the NDC will reclaim the parliamentary seat in 2024, marking a new era of leadership and progress for Okaikoi South.
