Residents of Tema Community 5 are preparing to demonstrate against Authorities come Friday, October 20th for an alleged sale of the Tema children’s park.
Information gathered by the Ahotor News desk indicates that the park has been sold out to a Chinese company years back and they are about to use the place for a casino which did not go down well with the citizens.
According to an opinion leader, Charles Amos squatters have invaded the park which is another cause to worry about.
The Assembly member for the area, Nana Yaw OPoku emphatically stated that “the Assembly is aware of the squatters and their main aim to demonstrate come Friday is not about the squatters but the alleged sale of the children’s park”.
