We will agree to disagree but the common enemy is the NPP – Hanna Bissiw tells NDC Supporters

The retained National Women’s Organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Dr. Hanna Louisa Bissiw has called on all NDC members to put all their differences aside and fight the common enemy which is the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Speaking after delegates retained her as the party’s National Women’s Organizer, She said only a united NDC can win power in 2024.

“We will agree to disagree but let’s not forget that the common enemy is the NPP, let’s all unite and work hard for victory 2024”.

Hanna Bissiw called for hard work and admonished supporters to move away from personality following and work toward winning the 2024 general elections.

“This victory is a victory for women in the NDC. I want to make everyone aware that hard work pays, and it is not a crime to work hard for the party you love. As Pablo said there is one common enemy and that is the New Patriotic Party under President Akufo-Addo,” she said.

“We must go out there and win more souls to win the elections come 2024.”

She blamed the NPP led government for failing Ghanaians with their unnecessary policies.

“The hardships Ghanaians are going through is on the heads of Akufo-Addo and his appointees with their unnecessary policies, the only party which has the track record of turning things around is the NDC but before we can win power in 2024, there should be unity” she said.

The NDC over the weekend elected their Women’s and Youth executives to help steer the affairs of the party for the for the next 4 years with the 2024 elections the big task ahead.

Dr. Bissiw polled 433 votes to beat her closest contender, Margaret Ansei who obtained 362 votes of the total valid ballot cast during the NDC’s Women and Youth congress held at the University of Cape Coast on Saturday.
