We need speed ramps at where the accident occurred – NDC PC.

John Setor Dumelo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon, has called on authorities to construct speed bumps on the road in East Legon where a recent accident tragically claimed the lives of two young girls.

Dumelo believes that this measure will help curb speeding and prevent future accidents in the area, as many of the roads in East Legon already have speed bumps, except for the one where the incident occurred.

Speaking during the burial service of the two girls, Dumelo expressed his determination to ensure that such accidents do not happen again.

He pointed out that drivers tend to speed on that stretch due to the lack of any deterrents, which is a serious concern that needs to be addressed.

The accident, which occurred last month, also left several others injured, some of whom are still receiving treatment.

There are allegations that the driver involved in the incident is the son of Bishop Salifu Amoako.
