We Need Good Officiating For Ghana Game – Angola Coach Declares
The head coach of Angola, Pedro Valdemar Soares Gonçalves has called for fair and transparent officiating ahead of the crucial encounter against Ghana.
In a pre-match press conference, coach Pedro Gonçalves emphasized the importance of unbiased decisions on the field by the officiating officials which he believes will ensure a fair contest.
“We need good officiating for this game. Both teams are strong, and the outcome should be determined by the players’ performances, not by questionable refereeing decisions.”
The Black Stars will host the Palancras Negras at the Baba Yara Stadium in their opening game of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers.
The meeting will be the third between the two teams since 2023 having also met in the qualifiers for the last edition of the AFCON.
The game between Ghana and Angola is scheduled to kick off at 16:00 GMT with Ghana at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
