We Can’t Jubilate Too Much – Coach Aboubakar Ouattara
Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak Aboubakar Ouattara insist his side’s 2-1 victory against Young Apostles on match week 6 of the 2024/2025 Ghana premier league can’t be celebrated too much since it is only their second win of the season.
Ouattara had this to say during the post match interview.
“I think today’s match is a very tough match. I know it can be difficult for us because of so many things. Young Apostles is a very good side but we maintain them. I think it is our second win so we can’t jubilate too much. We have two wins, two draws and two defeats so we will continue to work hard so that we can see what will happen in this league”
Hearts of Oak broke the deadlock through Emmanuel Amankwah in the 51st minute but Samuel Prempeh equalized for the host with a goal of the season contender. Prempeh’s audacious overhead kick goal was short lived. Approaching 90 minutes Hamzah Issah scored the match winner for Accra Hearts of Oak.
The win leaves Hearts of Oak 8th on the league table with 8 points after 6 matches.
