A security policy expert with the Centre for security dialogue and peace advocacy, Anthony Aquaye says the many security challenges the country is facing is as a result of the national security’s lack of competence.
According to him, our national security is driving us wayward with their shallow strategies as a country hence the recording of many security casualties.
He accused the national security of failing to update Ghanaians every month on security treats in the various regions which would have helped the people to know where and when and what action to take.
He said the national security is being lazy on their work in extreme.
“There is a lot of chaff in the national security, most of those there has no knowledge about the work they have been called into so they do not have any solid or new policy to help solve our security problems”.
They do it anyhow and if it keeps up like this we will never get any good result “he said.
He called for a proper way of appointment with the security service.
