Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is targeting three points from their upcoming game against bitterest rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko scheculed for December 15, 2024.
Speaking after his side’s 4-0 victory over Immigration FC in the MTN FA Cup, Coach Ouattara emphasised the need to prepare thoroughly for the high profile game.
“We can’t jubilate too much because
we need to think about the next match [Asante Kotoko],” he said.
Ouattara acknowledged the critical nature of the match for both teams and established that both teams are in for a win.
“Kotoko needs the win, and we also need the win. Let’s wait till 15th December to see what happens because that game is a three points match,” he added.
The Hearts of Oak coach emphasised that his team is focused on securing all three points against Kotoko. “We are going for the three points; if we don’t get it, we take a point,” he stated.
The Super Clash is expected to be a tough encounter, with both teams looking to secure a win. Hearts of Oak are currently 6th on the league log with 19 points, while Kotoko are behind them with 18 points.
