We are focus and determined to improve on last season’s performance – Abass Samari

The Discovery of the Year in the Betpawa Premier League last season, Abass Samari has revealed the team’s determination to improve upon their last season’s performance and enhance their results in the new campaign.

In an interview on another platform,
Abass Samari, who was the top scorer for Accra Lions last season with nine goals emphasized that the team want to improve upon their performance of last season to showcase the talents and skills the team has.

“For the team, we want to do much better than last season and to show Ghana and the world the kind of football we want to play, which is beautiful and entertaining, For me personally, I think I am fully focused for the season and as I said I want to do better than last season.

Accra Lions kicked off the season with an away trip to Tarkwa, where they played out an exciting 2-2 draw against champions Medeama SC at the Akoon Park.

Accra Lions will return to Accra for their second game of the season, facing Legon Cities.
