“Walk with Julius” Gets Special Shout-Out as Jubilee House Celebrates Men’s Day

Accra, Ghana, 20 November 2025: It was all praise for Chief of Staff Julius Debrah on Thursday morning when his weekly “Walk with Julius” fitness programme received glowing recognition during the Presidency’s International Men’s Day celebration.

Speaking at the Jubilee House Banquet Hall, Hon. Nana Oye Bampoe Addo openly commended Mr Debrah for inspiring both the young and old to embrace physical activity, humorously admitting she has “always wondered how he manages to bring out both the young and the old for such adventure.”

Under the theme “Healthy Men, Strong Families, Progressive Workplace,” the event saw senior appointees and staff urged to treat men’s health as a national priority.

“Every drop of sweat shed by a man is rarely for himself alone,” Hon. Bampoe Addo told the gathering. “It is for his family, his community, and our dear nation.”

She encouraged men to eat well, sleep adequately, exercise regularly, attend medical check-ups, and in a break from traditional stereotypes openly seek emotional support when needed.

The celebration closed with a direct tribute to President John Dramani Mahama’s “army” of dedicated men and women, with a reminder that only a healthy team can successfully drive the ongoing Reset Agenda.
