Vice President of the Republic, Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang, on behalf of President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has held a farewell meeting with the outgoing Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Ghana, His Excellency Abdulfatah Ahmed Khalifa Al Sattari.
The courtesy call was attended by the Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Her Excellency Varsen Aghabekian, as well as Ghana’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hon. James Gyakye Quayson.
The engagement marked the end of Ambassador Al Sattari’s eleven-year diplomatic tenure in Ghana. Vice President Opoku-Agyemang commended the ambassador for his dedication, professionalism and warm diplomatic approach, describing his service as instrumental in deepening Ghana–Palestine relations over the years.
She conveyed the Government of Ghana’s profound appreciation for his contributions toward strengthening bilateral cooperation and fostering mutual understanding between the two nations.
Vice President Opoku-Agyemang thanked Ambassador Al Sattari for his distinguished service and wished him success in his future assignments, expressing confidence that the enduring bonds he helped nurture between Ghana and the State of Palestine would continue to flourish.
