Update on Ambulance case: Dame vs Jakpa

Deputy Attorney General, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah has resumed his cross-examination of the businessman, Richard Jakpa in the ongoing ambulance trial.

“The Attorney General stood in front of me whilst I was sitting in Justice Kulendi’s house on the night of March 25, 2024, to March 26, 2024, and told me he was under pressure from the President and Finance Minister to have Ato Forson jailed”. – Jakpa to Court

“AG (Godfred Yeboah Dame) never told you he was being pressured by the President (Nana Akufo-Addo) and Finance Minister (Ken Ofori-Atta) that at the end of the first week of May 2024, Ato Forson should be jailed and his seat declared vacant” – Deputy Attorney General Alfred Tuah-Yeboah to Jakpa under cross-examination

“Attorney General Godfred Yeboah never said fante’s are cheap. It was your (Jakpa’s) own creation” – Deputy Attorney General confronts Richard Jakpa with an allegation.

“On the face of the exhibit (audio recording) the call lasted for 26 minutes but after nine minutes of our conversation I realized what he was asking me to do bothered on criminality so I started recording him” – Jakpa explained to the Court why his audio recording conversation with AG lasted for 16minutes.
