A violent confrontation in Mpasaaso Number 2, Ahafo Ano South West District, Ashanti Region, has resulted in two suspected thugs dead and another man critically injured.
Residents said they were unaware of what sparked the incident but woke to find three men on the street—two already dead.
Kojo Asare, Youth Leader of Mpasaaso Number 2, told reporters on Friday, November 14, 2025, that the deceased were known for engaging in violent behaviour. “Neighbours alerted us after discovering the bodies. At the scene, I saw two men with gunshot wounds and another severely injured,” he said.
One of the dead, identified as Borga, was reportedly a gang leader. Asare explained that Borga suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was found clutching a firearm. “He was also mutilated, with his wrists cut off,” Asare added.
Police have cordoned off the area and initiated an investigation into the deadly clash.
