Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, has sacked his agent Roberto Calenda amid his transfer saga, according to Il Mattino (via TMW).
Calenda’s ineptitude is rumored to have infuriated Osimhen, who attempted to arrange a permanent departure from the Serie A team.
The Nigerian international is thought to have negotiated his loan transfer to Galatasaray without the use of a representative.
It is believed that the Nigeria international even negotiated his loan move to Galatasaray without an agent.
Osimhen was expected to leave Napoli on deadline day, and Al Ahli and Chelsea tried to complete deals, but nothing happened. Calendar was heavily criticised on social media for messing up the deals.
It is known that Osimhen negotiated with Galatasaray with the assistance of George Gardi, a Turkish middleman.
Up to the end of the season, the agreement is a direct loan, but there is a break provision in place for January in case any elite European teams decide to make a bid.
