Timberwolves Shock The Mavericks
The Minnesota Timberwolves were thrilling 3-0 in a best of seven series heading into game 4 in mavericks home arena. Anthony Edwards scored 29 points and Karl-Anthony Towns produce a long range shooting as the Timberwolves defeated the Dallas mavericks 105 – 100 to keep their NBA western conference finals series alive.
Edward led the Timberwolves scoring but the decisive contribution came from Karl-Anthony Towns who drained a trio of three pointers to help the Timberwolves take a 98- 92 lead with less than 2minutes remaining. Edwards extended the lead to 100 – 92 with 1 minutes remaining and the visitors were in control of the game as the finished it off with 105-100.
The victory gives Timberwolves a slender lifeline as they head to game 5 of the play off series.
