The Oklahoma City Thunder delivered a dominant performance against the New Orleans Pelicans, securing a decisive victory fueled by a franchise-record 27 made three-pointers.
The Thunder’s hot shooting from beyond the arc overwhelmed the Pelicans as they showcased their offensive firepower and depth. Leading the charge was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who contributed efficiently alongside Chet Holmgren, Jalen Williams, and Isaiah Joe, all of whom helped stretch the floor.
The Thunder’s sharpshooting display shattered their previous record for most threes in a single game, emphasising their ability to space the floor and capitalise on open looks.
The Pelicans, missing key players due to injuries, struggled to keep pace with the Thunder’s relentless offensive attack. Despite efforts from Brandon Ingram and CJ McCollum, New Orleans couldn’t match Oklahoma City’s historic shooting night.
With this victory, the Thunder continued establishing itself as a serious contender in the Western Conference, showcasing its elite perimeter shooting and balanced offensive approach.
The Thunder extended their winning streak to six games, while the Pelicans’ losing streak was extended to nine.
