Thomas Partey names Michael Essien as his Dream Teammate

Arsenal’s Thomas Partey has named former Chelsea midfielder Michael Essien as the player he’d love to play with.

In a recent interview, Partey expressed his admiration for Essien’s skills.

Interestingly, Partey had previously tried to convince Essien to return to the Ghana national team before his retirement in 2021.

“I asked him to come back, but it’s too late now,” Partey revealed.

Partey has been instrumental in Arsenal’s success this season, helping the team reach the semifinals of the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League.

His contract with Arsenal is set to expire in June, and an extension is expected.
