Hon. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine, MP for Bawku East, has criticized the Nana Addo-led New Patriotic Party (NPP) government, asserting that if the administration had fulfilled even half of its promises, Ghana would be a much better place.
He referred to the current NPP leadership as a “419 government,” suggesting that they have deceived the public.
In a media interview, Ayine highlighted the achievements of the previous National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration under John Mahama, noting its efforts in addressing national issues like electricity supply (dumsor), infrastructure development, and economic growth.
He argued that the country would have been in a better position if the NPP had continued the positive work initiated by their predecessors.
Ayine recalled that prior to the 2020 elections, he had warned Ghanaians on social media about the discrepancies between President Nana Addo’s statements and actions.
He urged voters to make a change in the upcoming elections, stating that it is not too late for the NDC to rectify the issues caused by the current administration.
He encouraged Ghanaians to vote wisely, emphasizing that there is hope in the NDC and John Mahama.
