The Majority Chief Whip’s assertion that “there is something wrong with our national team, the Black Stars” reflects a growing sentiment among Ghanaians. Despite possessing talented players and a rich footballing history, the team has failed to achieve the level of success expected of them.

Several factors contribute to the Black Stars’ current struggles. Inconsistent coaching, administrative issues, and a lack of cohesion on the field have all played a role in the team’s underwhelming performances. Additionally, the absence of a clear long-term strategy for player development and team building has hindered progress.

To regain their former glory, the Black Stars must address these underlying issues head-on. This requires a comprehensive approach that encompasses coaching stability, administrative reforms, and a renewed focus on teamwork and discipline.
