Campaign Member for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer hopeful Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Dr Gideon Boako has told the media that, there is no doubt his candidate will be victorious in the upcoming delegate congress of the party.
Speaking in an interview monitored by Ahotoronline.com he said his candidate, Vice President Dr Bawumia does not see former president John Agyekum Kuffour and current President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo’s camps as different functions but the party’s godfathers.
According to him, the delegates shower praises on the vice President everywhere they go because he does not speak against any of the nine candidates but tells them what he has done and will do for the party should he get the mandate.
“The Vice President preaches of unity is the best because everyone will be needed after the primaries to win the 2024 general elections. Speaking against someone today, how do you manage to bring the person on board for the greater achievement and that is why the people hail Dr. Bawumia anywhere he goes”, he added.
He called on the party members to remain resolute and see the vice President win the general election for the party to maintain power after 2024.
