Security Analyst Opanyin Sarkodie has raised doubts about the credibility of a survey conducted by the National Investigation Bureau (NIB).
Opanyin Sarkodie believes the survey is not genuine and urges Ghanaians to disregard its findings.
The survey suggests that Energy Minister Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh is the favored choice among party members to be the running mate for New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
According to the NIB survey, which included responses from 5,116 NPP delegates across the country, Dr. Opoku Prempeh received 76.2% of the votes from national, regional, constituency, and polling station executives.
The survey also strongly suggests that the running mate should come from the Ashanti Region. The NIB report shows that approximately 84% of respondents consider Dr. Opoku Prempeh the ideal running mate for Dr. Bawumia, citing his charisma and popularity within the party.
Speaking on Ahotor FM‘s show ‘Simpieso‘ with host Emmanuel Martey, Opanyin Sarkodie questioned the authenticity of the survey and who commissioned it, suggesting the possibility that it might be fabricated.
