John Dramani Mahama, the presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), voiced strong concerns over Ghana’s economic state, which he described as being in “a big mess” due to mismanagement by the current NPP administration.
Speaking to residents in Chereponi as part of his “Mahama4Change2024” tour in the Northern Region, John Mahama stressed the need for a change in leadership in the upcoming elections to address the country’s economic challenges.
He assured the community that the NDC has capable men and women prepared to restore and strengthen Ghana’s economy.
“Even though the nation is facing difficult times, the next NDC administration will be committed to rescuing Ghana’s economy,” he promised.
The tour is an opportunity for John Mahama to connect with communities across the region, outline his vision for Ghana’s future, and present his proposed policies to drive sustainable change and economic recovery if elected president.
