The MP for Kintampo North criticizes the country’s administration, labeling it as a failed system.

The member of parliament for Kintampo North Hon. Joseph Kwame Kumah has commended the Electoral Commission EC for the extension of the deadline of the ongoing voter registration exercise

The Electoral Commission (EC) has announced an extension of the ongoing voter’s registration exercise.

The exercise, which has been extended by two days, will now end on May 29 instead of the initial May 27.

In a public notice, the EC said this extension is to make up for the time lost due to network challenges.

The exercise will now end on Wednesday the 29th of May 2024. This arrangement has been put in place to make up for the network challenges experienced during the first two (2) days of the registration exercise,” the notice read.

The notice reiterated the commission’s commitment to ensuring that all qualified individuals get the opportunity to register.

Speaking to Ahotor news, Mr. Kwame Kumah stated that, the system we are running as a country is not good enough and need to be corrected.

He has therefore called on the EC to address the network challenges other than that the, 2 days’ extension will be nothing
