Lawyer Kwame Owusu Danso, the running mate for the Movement for Change, has criticized the governance of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) under President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo Addo as deeply disappointing.
He reflected on how, during the 2016 elections, many young voters traveled to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region to vote for the NPP, expecting good governance and positive change.
Owusu Danso highlighted that many of the policies introduced by the current administration, under the leadership of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, have failed to deliver the promised results.
He noted that while Ghanaians initially voted for the NPP due to these promises, the current state of the economy tells a different story.
Comparing the performance of the same party under former President John Agyekum Kufuor with that of Akufo Addo, Owusu Danso emphasized that Kufuor’s administration was significantly better, performing “100% better” than the current one.
He urged Ghanaians to vote for Alan John Kwadwo Kyerematen and the Movement for Change, expressing confidence that this will bring about the governance the country desires.
