The challenges in the country cannot be solely attributed to the government; the citizens also have a part to play in addressing them – Pablo Hnxcho

Ghanaian Afro Dancehall musician, Pablo Hxncho, has been in the spotlight due to the release of his new single, ‘Tsunii,’ and has also spoken out about the current state of affairs in Ghana.

During an interview on Ahotor FM with Obaapa Janee, the artist stated, “We can’t solely blame the government for the hardships we face in Ghana; individuals are also to blame for being lazy.”

Pablo, while promoting his new song “Tusunii,” which means work, urged the youth to work hard to make ends meet and not depend entirely on the government.

He emphasized that we can’t entirely blame the government for the hardship, as people are lazy and reluctant to work. He stressed that without working, one cannot eat, and this needs to be kept in mind as a country.

He suggests that while the government certainly has a role in the economic conditions, individual responsibility and work ethic are equally crucial.

Hxncho further explained that his intention was not to undermine the struggles faced by many Ghanaians, but rather to encourage a spirit of self-reliance and hard work.

“I’m not absolving the government of responsibility,” he said. “But we also need to examine ourselves. Are we doing everything we can to improve our situation?”

Pablo Hxncho has made his mark not only as an entertainer but as a thought leader challenging the status quo.

Whether or not you agree with his perspective, his words have sparked a necessary conversation about the future of Ghana and the role each citizen plays in shaping it.
