Workers of the Intercity State Transport Company (STC) are resisting an appointment of a Third deputy Managing Director calling it a waste of public funds.
Unionized staff of the Intercity State Transport Company are insisting that they will not allow the appointment of any person as Deputy Managing Director in charge of Operations.
They contend that what the company needs now are new buses to augment the dwindling fleet.

The workers say the current two deputies are enough and demanding the cooperation, prioritize acquiring new buses and settling GHC6million which they owed in overdue pension
