The 24 Hour Economy is Ghana’s Future – Azubilla Salam

Emmanuel Azubilla Salam, the Executive Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly reaffirmed his advocacy for the ’24-Hour Economy’ policy, emphasizing it as a transformative strategy that could significantly enhance Ghana’s economic landscape.

According to Mr. Azubilla, the implementation of a ’24-Hour Economy’ would bring far-reaching benefits, touching every aspect of the nation’s economic activities. He highlighted that this policy is a critical pathway toward achieving substantial economic growth, boosting productivity, and meeting the increasing demands of the market.

Additionally, he argued that it would help reduce excessive imports, which often have adverse effects on the national economy and currency stability.

Furthermore, Mr. Azubilla underscored that this policy could be a key driver in creating well-paying jobs for the millions of Ghanaians currently unemployed.

By extending economic activities around the clock, the policy aims to ensure continuous economic engagement, thereby generating more opportunities for employment.
