Accra, Ghana – The Presidency has announced that President John Dramani Mahama will kick off his nationwide Thank You Tour this Friday, with the Volta Region as the first stop.
This tour is designed to express the President’s heartfelt gratitude to the people of Ghana for their overwhelming support and trust during the 2024 elections.
The visit will feature a grand durbar, bringing together chiefs, queen mothers, opinion leaders, religious leaders, members of labor unions, and representatives from the informal sector.
This gathering will not only celebrate the people’s contributions to nation-building but also strengthen the bond between the President and the citizens of Ghana.
President Mahama’s dedication to fulfilling his campaign promises has already been demonstrated through historic actions.
Notably, he became the first President in Ghana’s history to announce a full cabinet within two weeks of assuming office.
This swift and decisive move underscores his commitment to effective governance and his determination to tackle Ghana’s pressing challenges head-on.
The Presidency has called on all Ghanaians to unite in pride and celebration during this special occasion.
In a letter signed by the Acting Spokesperson to the President, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, it read:
“This event is an opportunity to honor the invaluable support and trust of our citizens as we work together to build the Ghana we all desire. We look forward to a vibrant and successful gathering in the Volta Region.”
