Tengol K. Kplemani Meets Suriname Ambassador to Deepen Ghana–Suriname Cultural Partnership

A significant step toward strengthening cultural and heritage ties between Ghana and Suriname was taken today in Accra as Tengol K. Kplemani, Africa Ambassador for the Countrystyle Community Tourism Network (CCTN) Villages as Businesses (VAB) and Supreme Convener of the Sister Kingdom Network, met with Her Excellency Fidelia Graand-Galon, Ambassador of Suriname to Ghana.

The high-level meeting centred on a shared vision of promoting cultural exchange, community tourism, and stronger connections between Africa and the African diaspora. Both leaders discussed initiatives aimed at preserving heritage while creating opportunities that future generations can benefit from.

Reflecting on the meeting, Tengol K. Kplemani described it as an honour and emphasised that their discussions were inspired by respect for their ancestors, the spirit of the land, and a commitment to building a meaningful legacy through unity and collaboration.

The engagement marks another important milestone in fostering cultural diplomacy and strengthening the historical bonds between Ghana and Suriname, with both parties expressing optimism about future partnerships that celebrate African heritage and community development.
