The Tech Eminence Awards Committee, in partnership with Kampusstyle and the Ghana National Union of Technical Students (GNUTS), has extended a formal invitation to a distinguished Ghanaian space physicist and educator to serve as Guest of Honor at the 2025 Tech Eminence Awards.
The national event, scheduled for Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Takoradi Library’s Grace Dinner Hall, is themed “Innovate, Inspire, Impact: Shaping Tomorrow’s Technical Students Today.” It aims to celebrate excellence, leadership, creativity and innovation among students in Ghana’s technical and tertiary institutions.
Organizers announced that the honoree will receive a Special Honorary Award for Outstanding Contribution to STEM and Innovation, citing her leadership in advancing STEM education, gender equality and youth empowerment across the continent.
According to the committee, the selection was influenced by her extensive work as a space physicist, educator, social entrepreneur and AIMS Canada Postdoctoral Research Fellow, as well as her role as a lecturer at the University of Cape Coast. Her contributions through the Molex Foundation Africa, where she supports disadvantaged youth and promotes equal access to STEM opportunities, were also highlighted.

The awards ceremony will include the presentation of the honorary award, a goodwill or keynote address from the honoree and a celebration of emerging innovators and change-makers from technical and tertiary institutions nationwide.
