The Tema Development Corporation (TDC) Ghana Limited, with support from the National Security team, demolished illegal structures at the Sakumono Ramsar site.
The Managing Director, Courage Nunekpeku, stated that the exercise aimed to reclaim encroached state lands and protect the Ramsar site.
This action demonstrates the government’s commitment to preserving environmentally sensitive areas and enforcing land use regulations.
