First trophy for 2025 in Italian football is up grabs already as four teams gear up for SuperCoppa Italiana (Italian Super Cup) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Same format as the last edition, won by Inter in the final over Napoli.
The first semi-final game on Thursday 2 January, will be between the reigning champions Inter and Atalanta and the next day will be the turn of AC Milan and Juventus.
The final will be played on Monday 6 January.

The Supercoppa Italiana was founded way back in 1988. It featured two teams, the winner of the Serie A title and the winner of the same season’s Coppa Italia.
It was originally played at the start of the season to kick-off a new campaign, but it has more recently been played in the winter, where it is normally held outside Italy.
The first foreign-held Italian Super Cup was in 1993 in Washington, D.C where Milan beat Torino to clinch the title.
