Super Eagles Squad Announced for 2025 Unity Cup
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has revealed the Super Eagles squad for the upcoming 2025 Unity Cup clash against Ghana.
The match is scheduled for May 28 at the Gtech Community Stadium in Brentford.
Head coach Eric Chelle has named a strong squad, featuring key players like Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, Kelechi Iheanacho, Samuel Chukwueze, and Moses Simon. Other notable inclusions are Terem Moffi and Semi Ajayi.
Some big names, however, have missed out on the squad. The Super Eagles will face Ghana in the semifinal, with the winner advancing to the final against either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago on May 31.
Ghana coach Otto Addo is expected to announce his final squad for the tournament soon. The Black Stars are preparing to face off against the Super Eagles in what promises to be an exciting encounter.
The semifinal match between Ghana and Nigeria kicks off at 19:00 GMT on May 28. The final will take place on May 31 at 12:30 GMT, featuring the winner of the Ghana-Nigeria tie against either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago.
