The everlasting rivals will lock horns in a Ghana Premier League match day 13 fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday at 15:00GMT kick off time.
Speaking to journalist Victor Kwawu ahead of the match, Bekoe highlighted the individual brilliance of both players and the impact their duel could have on the outcome of the game.
“Looking at the current form of the Kotoko striker (Albert Amoah) and the Phobia goalkeeper (Benjamin Asare), who has more clean sheets, it’s going to be a supremacy affair,” Bekoe said.
He elaborated on the stakes for both players, underscoring the intense competition and determination expected on the field.
“The striker would do all he can to score, and the goalkeeper too will try avoiding him from scoring. It’s going to be an end-to-end ecstasy,” he added.
Bekoe, a star of Kotoko played for the Porcupines in the 2007/2008 season; scoring 17 goals in 23 games.
He also became the “Goal King” (top scorer) of the One Touch Premier League and League Champion with Kotoko that season.
Asante Kotoko are seventh on the table with 18 points while Hearts of Oak are sixth with 19 points in the current campaign.
