Sudan Were Lucky But They Won’t Be Lucky Next Time – Coach Otto Addo Laments
The head coach of the Black Stars has expressed frustration after Black Stars goalless draw against Sudan in the 2025 Afcon qualifiers, stating Sudan was fortunate to escape with a point .
In the post match interview , coach Otto Addo expressed that the Black Stars deserves to win looking at the chances the had ,dominance throughout the match, their excellent performances but football is unpredictable and this makes it more difficult for their chances of qualifying to the next Afcon.
“Sudan was lucky today, but they won’t be next time”.
He further emphasized that their performance was very good which should have yielded a good results and now have some few days to analyzed the game but they remain focus and positive for the qualification.
Though the result leaves Ghana in a tight race for AFCON qualification, Otto Addo remains hopeful about the team’s prospects, noting that with better execution, victories will follow in the upcoming fixtures.
