Stephen Amankona Wins The GPL Golden Boot
Berekum Chelsea talented striker Stephen Amankona, has won the prestigious Golden Boot award as the top scorer in the 2023-24 Ghana Premier League season .
Stephen Amankona played a pivotal role in Berekum Chelsea after scoring 19 goals in the season and his journey to the top of the scoring charts has been nothing short of spectacular performance ,his sharp instincts, quick footwork, and clinical finishing. His ability to find the back of the net under pressure and his knack for being in the right place at the right time made him a constant threat to opposing defenses.
In 2023-24 GPL season , Amankona not only showed his individual talents but also contributed significantly to his team’s overall performance leading Berekum Chelsea to crucial victories and solidifying their 3rd position with 51 points in the league standings.
