Stephen Amankona Earns Ghana Call-Up for Unity Cup

Berekum Chelsea forward Stephen Amankona has reportedly been included in the Black Stars squad for the 2025 Unity Cup tournament.

Coach Otto Addo is impressed with Amankona’s performance, who has scored 13 goals in 23 appearances this season.

Ghana will face Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago in the tournament. The competition will feature exciting matchups, including Ghana vs. Nigeria on May 28 and the final on May 31.

As one of the few local players selected, Amankona will look to make an impact and showcase his skills on the international stage.
