Nollywood actress Sonia Uche has opened up about her powerful journey, revealing how she balanced her academic life with her passion for acting.
Though she studied Agricultural Economics, Sonia admitted that her heart had always belonged to the world of movies.
She shared that there was a point in her life where she struggled deeply — skipping classes for auditions, juggling schoolwork, and facing setbacks that shook her confidence.
Her grades dropped, and she almost gave up entirely.
But in a moment of clarity, she encouraged herself with a simple resolve:
“Sonia, finish what you started.”
With renewed focus, she pushed through, completed her degree, and still pursued her acting dream. Today, she says education gave her stability, while acting gave her direction and purpose.
